Technic Electrical Engineering (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (TEET), global master distributor of CONTINEWM®, is proud to announce that CONTINEWM® USA has been officially approved as a Service Provider of the New York City Accelerator, a program supported by the NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) and the Mayor’s Office of Climate and Environmental Justice (MOCEJ).

This recognition marks a major milestone in CONTINEWM®’s North American expansion and its contribution to New York City’s ambitious carbon reduction goals under Local Law 97 (LL97) and Local Law 88 (LL88).

Accelerating Decarbonisation in New York City Buildings

The NYC Accelerator helps building owners and operators comply with the city’s leading-edge climate laws by connecting them with vetted service providers offering proven energy-efficiency solutions.

With CONTINEWM® USA now part of this network, property owners across the five boroughs can benefit from CONTINEWM®’s innovative HVAC technology — a passive Japanese-engineered grid that optimizes air-conditioning performance, reduces energy consumption, and lowers greenhouse gas emissions.

“New York City represents one of the world’s most advanced urban sustainability ecosystems,” said Thomas Gal, Founder & CEO of TEET and VP Engineering of CONTINEWM®.

“Becoming an approved Service Provider for NYC Accelerator reinforces the credibility and global recognition of CONTINEWM®’s technology. We’re honored to support building owners and facility managers in meeting LL97 compliance targets efficiently and affordably.”

Supporting Local Law 97 and the City’s Climate Commitments

Local Law 97, part of New York’s Climate Mobilization Act, requires most buildings over 25,000 square feet to meet strict carbon emission limits beginning in 2024, with even tighter thresholds in 2030.

By improving HVAC efficiency through static electricity neutralization and far-infrared radiation effects, CONTINEWM® helps reduce electricity demand and extend system lifespan — directly contributing to compliance with LL97 and reducing operating costs for property owners.

As part of its partnership with NYC Accelerator, CONTINEWM® USA will:

  • Provide energy-efficiency consulting and HVAC optimization assessments for commercial, residential, and institutional buildings.

  • Collaborate with local partners to leverage incentive programs supported by NYSERDA, Solar One, and CUNYworkforce initiatives.

  • Share best practices and case studies demonstrating measurable CO₂ reduction and improved building performance.
